4 dead in apparent murder-suicide in Colorado

By NBC News staff

Four people were found dead Tuesday in northern Colorado in what police believe is a murder suicide, NBC affiliate KUSA TV reported.

The four people, one of whom was a child, were found at a home in a subdivision near Longmont, Colo., according to the Weld County Sheriff's Office.

Before the bodies were found, police received a 911 call from a female at the address.

The dispatcher heard "No, no, no" and then gunshots in the background of the call, KUSA reported.

Later, a man got on the phone and threatened to kill himself. The dispatcher then heard more gunshots.
